Does submitting the form make me a client?
No. A paralegal-client relationship begins only after the matter is accepted and the required retainer or engagement terms are completed.
What should I upload?
Upload the document most directly connected to the issue, such as a ticket, notice, claim, tribunal document or relevant photo. Do not upload passwords or banking credentials.
Can you handle every type of legal matter?
No. Ontario paralegals have a defined scope of practice. The first step is confirming whether the matter falls within that scope and whether Rousta Legal Services accepts the file.
Can an Ontario paralegal act as a paid immigration representative?
Ontario paralegals who are members in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario can be authorized paid representatives for immigration or citizenship matters. The specific service still depends on the matter and acceptance of the file.
What if I have a deadline very soon?
